For each of us and in service to a sustainable society, I founded Kapnest with the vision and mission: to shape the capital infrastructure, trusted knowledge and experts ecosystem for carbon, nature and biodiversity investments markets.
Together we are writing the next stage of high-integrity markets and channeling resilient and tailored capital towards impactful projects.
I’m Adelina Toader, a capital strategist with nearly two decades of experience in corporate banking and international structured trade finance.
I've built and coordinated profitable businesses and bespoke financial services from the ground up around the world. Across commodities sectors, such energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals, fertilisers, metals and mining, as well as other real industries supply chains.
Over the past four years, I’ve led the development of the carbon credits financing business within a major global financial institution.

Building on postgrad studies of collective psychoanalysis, time has come to interpolate quantitative analytical metrics with ecological psychology knowledge. My postgrad research is focused on why with abundant technical data at hand humanity lacks decision drive in decarbonisation and nature protection efforts. Kapnest is building an ecosystem of committed capital providers, project developers, supply and demand representatives, as well as providing them the tools for a swift, impeccable, resilient deals executions
The space is curated to include all relevant technical and analytical market date, with a relevant lens of eco-psychology to streamline decision making.
What to tools expect? We co-develop with market experts: (i) a standardised heads of terms (HoT) for carbon financing. Capturing full financing cycle: from equity, blended finance, project financing, offtake. (ii) Launch and pre-test a SaaS platform prototype for a carbon-toolkit aimed to translate data into faster investment and strategic decision-making.
